Catherine Schulten is VP of Product Management at LifeMed ID where she is responsible for orchestrating product roadmap initiatives and ensuring that LifeMed ID’s solution offering meets industry user needs. She works closely with the development team to guide strategic alignment with the industry, and tactical product release timing. Catherine is responsible for instilling product management processes and is extensively involved with channel partner product integrations.
Since Catherine joined LifeMed ID, she has been a key contributor in charting LifeMed ID’s strategic vision. She actively participates in several identity and healthcare organizations with an eye toward introducing a mobile registration process to improve the patient experience, establishing patient registration accuracy, and ensuring identity assurance. She works with groups like Pew, Kantara and the IDESG to evangelize the “Know Your Patient” identity design to improve upon the foundations laid by existing patient matching strategies. She is also a founding and active member of IDPro professional association.
Catherine has over 25 years of health information technology experience addressing industry challenges from revenue cycle, HIPAA transactions, fraud, waste and abuse, and patient identity management.
Catherine earned a B.S. in Marketing Management at Virginia Tech.
