As the founder and CEO of the World Identity Network, Mariana is striving to bring together world’s brightest minds and leverage the potential of emerging technologies to solve some of humanity’s toughest challenges, such as modern slavery and human trafficking. Previously, Mariana was with the World Bank and led the Identification for Development (ID4D)global program that she created to raise awareness about the billions of people lacking a proof of their existence, echoing her own story. Mariana received numerous awards for her work and has been included in the Top 100 Most Influential People in Identity for three years in a row.
She is also Founding Member at the Global Blockchain Business Council and Fellow at New America Foundation.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Mariana was a visiting researcher at the MIT Sloan School of Management where she worked on her book “Quenching the Thirst for Innovation”. Dr. Dahan holds two PhD degrees in management and economic sciences, from ESCP Europe Business School and Paris II University in France.
